The long-running outdoor drama at Sugarloaf Mountain Amphitheatre wrapped another season this month, with weekend performances drawing some of the strongest crowds in recent years.
The production, staged in the hills north of Chillicothe, has run each summer for decades and remains one of the county’s largest draws for visitors from outside the region.
Cast members said the cooler evenings late in the run made for some of the better nights on stage.
